Key Responsibilities

The Autism Behavior Consultant plays a vital role in addressing the unique needs of clients across various settings. This includes assessing individual needs to inform treatment plans, developing programs, and monitoring their implementation. Additionally, the Consultant provides training and supervision to necessary team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and care.

  • Treatment Plan Development: Develops, implements, and monitors treatment plans across settings to ensure effective care.
  • Client Interactions: Conducts all interactions with clients and team members in a positive, professional, and caring manner.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborates and communicates regularly with internal and external team members, including families, care managers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Training and Supervision: Trains, monitors, and provides performance feedback to team members to ensure they meet standard expectations.
  • Performance Assessment: Assesses and monitors team member performance to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintains and submits all required documentation by expected deadlines.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in a related service field.
  • Licensure: Behavior Specialist Licensure required.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and delivering Applied Behavior Analysis programming.
  • Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Internet applications, with the ability to implement, train, and coach staff on services and crisis prevention techniques.
