Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Leader to join our team at Vista Autism Services.

About the Role:

  • This position involves leading the development and implementation of individualized education plans, working closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in special education, with experience in directing other people within a small work unit and working with individuals with Autism using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • A Master's degree in Special Education is highly desirable, as is experience working with diverse student populations and developing curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for classroom staff on academic and social curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records, including attendance and special education paperwork.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes and achieve established classroom objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an education-related subject required; Master's degree in Special Education highly desired.
  • Special Education Certification from the Commonwealth of PA required.
  • Continuing education and certification requirements required.
  • Satisfactory completion of Safe and Positive Approaches Training required.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
