About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced RN Diabetes Care and Education Specialist to join our team at Hershey Medical Center. This dynamic role involves providing professional nursing, consultation, and educational services for individuals with diabetes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating patients and families about diabetes management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for patients with diabetes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct workshops and group education sessions on diabetes self-management
  • Provide consultation and support to patients and families on diabetes-related topics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
