Position Overview:
Alarm is expanding its product marketing team and is in search of a Product Marketing Specialist. We seek a motivated and analytical marketing professional to strategize, develop, and implement launch plans that align with Alarm's product goals. The Product Marketing Specialist will oversee projects from inception to completion, taking into account user requirements, market dynamics, and competitive analysis.
This collaborative and creative individual will play a crucial role within the Product department, working closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, create resources, and deliver effective marketing materials to successfully introduce new products and features.
This position reports to the Marketing Director.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling product positioning content, marketing messages, supporting materials, and sales tools to ensure successful product launches.
- Create go-to-market strategies for key products and features, leveraging data insights, competitive analysis, and Alarm's unique positioning. - Clearly articulate how Alarm's technology stands out and the solutions it provides to customers. - Serve as the Voice of the Customer advocate; gather feedback from customer-facing teams to refine product positioning and assess previous launches. - Facilitate internal consensus and review of key materials to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved. - Effectively communicate launch plans and available resources across the organization to keep all teams informed and prepared. - Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant Product Marketing experience, ideally within a technology-focused organization. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proficiency in graphic design tools such as PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop. - Extensive experience in crafting persuasive marketing and sales content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams across the organization.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - A quantitative mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making. - Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and innovative approaches in dynamic markets.Benefits at Alarm:
