Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our data center projects, from initial planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Communicate and follow up with clients about project goals, deliverables, and progress.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract agreements with clients and vendors.
  • Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts, and other expenses.
  • Financial Management: Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Relationship Building: Work closely with Sales to develop deeper relationships with clients and partners.
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of the project using Procore.
  • Site Evaluation: Visit project sites to evaluate progress and respond to client concerns or questions.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure our construction teams have the necessary materials.
  • Communication: Communicate with site superintendents about delays and other issues that must be communicated to clients.
  • Professionalism: Maintain an elevated level of professionalism with clients, vendors, and colleagues, and work to establish a positive working relationship.
  • Safety: Drive throughout the service area while following all local laws and operate vehicles and other equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards and risks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the data center industry or large commercial or industrial industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Construction Management, Engineering, Applied Science, or Architecture field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Office, BlueBeam, Accubid, and Procore).
  • License: Active Driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SCIF Construction Experience: Experience in SCIF construction a plus.
  • Commercial General Contractor Experience: Experience as a commercial general contractor a plus.
  • PMP Certification: PMP certification a plus.
  • Security Clearance: Active Security Clearance a plus.
