Position Overview

Welcome to InTouch Credit Union

We are seeking a Contact Center Agent who thrives in a customer-centric, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will deliver friendly, professional, and efficient assistance to our members.

Compensation: The salary for this position is approximately $22.33.

Work Schedule: This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate within a call center setting, providing assistance to members and potential members through telephone, chat, or email communications, ensuring accurate and courteous service.
  • Strive for first-call resolution by addressing inquiries regarding products and services, including loan offerings, and recommend suitable options to enhance member satisfaction.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Credit Union products, services, features, benefits, lending guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling services to members and actively promote these offerings.
  • Take ownership of member interactions via telephone or chat, aiming for efficient resolutions with minimal transfers to other departments.
  • Assist members with Online Banking and related web-based services.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years in a financial institution or call center environment.

Required Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with basic software applications.
  • Understanding of compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering regulations is essential.
