The Area Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and managing operations and customer support programs to support and meet Pilot Last Miles mission and goals for service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate flow of communication between Haulers/Delivery Teams, Call Center, and Local Client Management Teams
  • Provide on-site presence to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams are following procedures
  • Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers
  • Develop and maintain relations with vendors
  • Ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims
  • Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery
  • Maintain monthly operation reports, including statistics and customer service scores
Requirements:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills, with ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals related to the business and market
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
