Job Summary

Natureplex, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee the Microbiology and Analytical laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality systems, and internal/external customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Quality Control processes, personnel, and methods to ensure reagents, in-process, and raw materials meet regulatory, quality system, and customer requirements.
  • Manage and execute Quality Control verifications, inspections, tests, and analyses, including developing laboratory policies and procedures based on regulations, industry guidelines, and company requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain department personnel and material resources to meet departmental commitments and ensure QC oversight meets or exceeds industry and FDA trends/expectations.
  • Manage and approve change controls, QC metrics, deviations, CAPA, test methods, specifications, and improvement projects for the laboratories.
  • Establish personnel performance criteria and provide necessary training and resources to meet performance goals and objectives.
  • Ensure department operations and practices comply with OSHA, material handling, and facility safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, and email), wet chemistry skills (titration, viscosity measurements, weighing, etc.), and analytical instrumentation skills (GC, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR, BioLumix, Autoclave, etc.).
  • Management or supervisory experience or 3-5 years of experience in a relevant industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.).
  • Expert GMP, GDP, GLP, quality, and in-depth risk management knowledge.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, EPA, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
