2. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify, prepare, and implement enhancement opportunities that promote optimal production and quality standards.
3. **Process Development**: Prepare recommendations and analyses for the creation of new or improved processes that support peak production and quality levels.
4. **Data Tracking**: Measure and monitor key process metrics to guide resource allocation effectively.
5. **Information Transfer**: Ensure seamless communication of critical information to relevant shift and plant-wide personnel.
6. **Budget Oversight**: Monitor and review budgetary considerations, integrating them into daily operational decisions.
7. **Best Practices Development**: Establish best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production rates and output quality.
8. **Team Contribution**: Support team objectives by performing related tasks as necessary to achieve business unit goals.
9. **Quality Testing**: Conduct tests and inspections on products to identify those that do not meet quality standards.
10. **Root Cause Analysis**: Identify symptoms of defective or non-conforming parts and investigate underlying causes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, or industrial technology.
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, with supervisory experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-initiative and proven project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with production systems and techniques, with the ability to learn and apply management tools.
- Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
