Overview:
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and pristine environment for our guests, staff, and vendors. You will provide guidance and support to the housekeeping team, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the housekeeping team, fostering open communication, providing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to maximize efficiency.
  • Participate in the hiring and training processes, conduct performance evaluations, and address any issues that arise within the team.
  • Inspect and supervise the cleaning of guest accommodations, public areas, and service areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Delegate tasks to staff, taking into account special requests and priority areas to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage inventory by distributing supplies at the start of shifts, ensuring availability while monitoring expenses.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Maintain Lost and Found records and respond to inquiries to uphold guest satisfaction.
  • Implement emergency protocols to safeguard the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capability to navigate the building and assist team members as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to various audiences.
