Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Conduct emergency repairs during equipment failures.
  • Be available for overtime and weekend shifts as required.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all machinery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with operational programs.
  • Communicate effectively through written correspondence and complete necessary manufacturing records.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery components according to manufacturer specifications.

Food Safety and Quality Assurance:

  • Uphold food safety standards by maintaining a clean work area.
  • Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) for food safety.
  • Comply with personal hygiene regulations.
  • Report any food safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure documentation is current and accurate.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to assess machinery and support equipment in a dairy production facility.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of boiler operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Capability to perform TIG welding.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Work Schedule: This position operates on a 12-hour shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, with alternating weekends off.
