Position Summary

As the Aircraft Services Team Leader, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of Line Service Technicians who deliver essential services to general aviation aircraft, their crews, and passengers. Your role will also involve performing similar tasks as those assigned to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and delegate tasks to qualified staff, track progress, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Welcome, park, tow, and marshal aircraft in the ramp area.
  • Provide lavatory and water services as needed.
  • Fuel and de-ice aircraft upon request.
  • Facilitate shuttle services for passengers and crew as required.
  • Support customer service functions as necessary.
  • Deliver oil and oxygen services for aircraft when requested.
  • Assist passengers and crew with baggage and cargo as needed.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and order in ramp and customer areas.
  • Support wing-walking duties as required.
  • Assist the Supervisor in training new staff members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods; communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
  • Capable of driving vehicles in congested areas with awareness of surroundings.
  • Strong communication skills with customers, management, and team members.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply common sense in various situations.
  • Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math skills for handling financial transactions and measurements.
  • Problem-solving skills to navigate various situations.
  • Compliance with uniform and appearance standards as set by the company.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license; a commercial driver's license may be necessary based on local regulations.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain an airport security badge.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Successful completion of training programs.
  • Ability to pass a color vision test for fuel inspection.
  • Proficiency in using computers and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in general aviation is preferred.
