Job Description

We are seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our team. This role will involve performing hydraulic calculations, analyzing stormwater management facilities, and designing erosion control systems for Aviation and Transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting, and construction oversight in a project team environment.
  • Contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data, performing modeling and simulation, site grading, erosion control design, and stormwater permitting.
  • Prepare project design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads.
  • Develop project-specific detail drawings.
  • Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
  • Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
  • Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
  • Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and/or construction support.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years' experience considered; 2-5 years' relevant experience preferred.
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Experience with transportation, aviation, and land development/site design projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads, HEC-RAS, ICPR, HY8, etc. is preferred.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility, and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
