Furniture Sales Professional

Joybird, a leading provider of handcrafted custom-built furniture, seeks an experienced sales professional to join its Retail Sales team.
Job Overview:- Responsible for driving sales in Joybird's showrooms and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Demonstrate passion for driving the customer service experience and exhibit aptitude for managerial responsibilities as a Key Holder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the store, performing other duties in the absence of management, and ensuring that the store is meeting financial goals and providing excellent service to guests.
- Serving as a role model to the sales team in sales generation and customer service, relentlessly delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintaining the showrooms' design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines and maximizing sales by growing and maintaining a strong client base.
- Assisting leadership in creating programs and initiatives to enhance customer experiences and sharing valuable insights with product, marketing, and technology teams regarding customer needs and feedback.
- Listening and acknowledging customer feedback and complaints, empathizing, and presenting the best possible solution.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail sales experience with shift supervision, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and no travel required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of knowledge of the furniture industry and proficiency in Mac operating systems and Microsoft office.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation:
$18 per hour + commission. Estimated annual salary: $40,000-$60,000 based on performance.
