We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting medical staff in the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of routine to complex examinations to assist medical staff in the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Monitor all radiographs taken in the department to ensure high quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all functions of the department to ensure high quality.
- Perform a wide variety of complex ultrasound examinations of human subjects to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury.
Selectee may be subject to a probationary period.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
This is a designated position covered by Public Law, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
COVID-19 vaccination is required for all selectees prior to entrance on duty.
Position subject to call back, stand by, rotating shifts and nights/weekends/holidays.
Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Background Investigation: If you are selected for this vacancy, you must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation.
Fingerprint results and background investigation documentation must be cleared prior to hire.
