Operating Room Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to lead our team of nurses in the Operating Room at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Job Summary:The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the OR team, ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of perioperative nursing practices, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to OR nurses, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Director and other leaders to develop and implement unit-based goals and objectives.
- Manage day-to-day staffing, including scheduling, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to OR nurses to enhance their clinical skills and leadership abilities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Perioperative experience required with a minimum of 3 years current Operating Room experience.
- Current experience with ENT and Plastic surgery cases preferred.
