Job Summary:The Nurse Manager Operating Room will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to OR staff
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Managing staff performance and providing coaching and development opportunities
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and a current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- At least 3 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
