We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Operating Room Manager at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing clinical and program development within the OR to ensure quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in managing surgical services and overseeing professional nursing practice. You will work closely with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Oversee professional nursing practice and ensure high-quality patient care
- Plan, organize, and implement clinical and program development within the OR
- Manage surgical services and ensure efficient operations
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
