About the Role:

The Senior Credit Products Officer - Dealer Financial Services will be a key member of the Commercial Client Team, responsible for handling clients' financial needs and ensuring a favorable overall client experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level advisory guidance in complex, integrated debt capital solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to understand their financial goals and objectives, current and future financial performance, and their needs and desires for their banking relationship.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of other Bank of America products, including Investment Banking and Treasury Management, to deliver optimally integrated strategic solutions.
  • Oversee the monitoring of assigned portfolios to maintain credit quality and ensure timely recognition and management of any changes.
  • Work closely with Client Managers and Credit Risk Managers to assess client needs, design integrated solutions, and deliver the bank to clients and prospects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of solid experience in commercial credit analysis, including underwriting, structuring, documentation, and portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge and comprehension of loan and collateral documentation.
  • Ability to accurately analyze borrowers' financial picture and deliver a comprehensive risk analysis to manager and risk officers.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, experience working in a team environment, and ability to influence constituencies with diverse views towards consensus.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Prior experience leading a team.
  • Prior experience mentoring less experienced associates.
  • Completion of a formal commercial credit training program.
  • Knowledge of the franchised automobile and RV dealership businesses.
