Job Summary

As an Assistant Community Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Community Manager in supervising the team, training and developing employees, and reviewing daily rent recommendations to maximize income.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the training and development of the team, including scheduling employee work times.

Review daily rent recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to maximize income.

Collect current and delinquent rent in accordance with company and property policy, and implement timely legal action as needed.

Review move in and move out files for thorough and accurate completion, and verify information is timely and accurately entered into the property software system.

Complete or verify completion of accurate and timely weekly reports, and review monthly financial reports with the property manager.

Requirements

Must have related property management experience and the ability to pass a fair housing exam.

Lease-Up experience is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal, and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Ability to work independently without direct supervision, and have knowledge of operations software used at the property level, including Outlook, Internet software, EXCEL, and WORD.

Current driver's license and auto insurance are required, and the ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $26.00-$27.00/hour, and we offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive, and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
