Position Summary:

The In-Flight Catering Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the daily catering delivery operations, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires close collaboration with various internal departments and direct communication with our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive in initiating projects aimed at enhancing the overall catering preparation and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the timely and safe delivery of catering services for assigned flights, adhering to customer specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections using designated checklists.
  • Ensure accurate meal counts and minimize overprovisioning.
  • Assist with loading operations, ensuring proper stowage of all items.
  • Facilitate the handover process to the aircraft crew, ensuring all delivery notes are signed.
  • Compile daily catering delivery reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate operational updates promptly to relevant departments.
  • Monitor compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
  • Identify and address any operational challenges, reporting them to management.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new team members.
