About the Role:
Mal Warwick Donordigital is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Fundraising Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for the strategic management of direct marketing fundraising programs for non-profit clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Develop and implement annual plans and year-long strategies in coordination with the Vice President.
- Client Service: Provide strategic leadership of client programs, oversee implementation of client's annual plan, and provide guidance on production management and creative process for projects.
- Analytics: Prepare and interpret reports and analysis that evaluate client direct marketing fundraising programs, select donor segments of client database, and work with list brokers/modeling vendors to develop donor and prospect lists.
- Team Management: Manage a high-functioning team, develop concepts and messaging for direct mail projects, draft copy and/or work with copywriters to draft program content, and problem-solve and take accountability for errors.
- Travel: Travel to meet with clients as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in fundraising, advocacy, non-profit, or similar areas.
- Skills: Direct marketing, especially fundraising and/or advocacy, experience in strategic and production management of direct marketing projects, knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
