Qualifications:

  • Current BACB Certification.
  • Required Behavior Specialist License.
  • Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a relevant mental health field, along with at least one year of documented experience working with children, adolescents, or youth.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel as necessary.
  • Preferred: One year of paid experience working with children or adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), including VB MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on FBA findings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise BHT or RBT staff in delivering direct 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and analyze data during client sessions to monitor progress and adjust programming as needed.
  • Support parents, educators, and community members in understanding and addressing behavioral challenges.
  • Model appropriate behaviors and provide clinical support to direct care staff.
  • Ensure clear communication with other supporting agencies and maintain thorough documentation of all sessions and assessments.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's degree is mandatory.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BCBA certification is essential.
  • Must possess one of the following licenses: BSL, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling from Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime is permitted.

All staff must undergo appropriate background checks, provide transcripts of their degrees, and obtain clearances to work directly with children and adolescents. Compliance with Medicaid and Medicare programs is required, along with verification through the National Sex Offender Registry and possession of an active Mandated Reporting Certificate.
