About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Network Contracting team at 57PPaDagFB7jbw. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding the development and support of provider networks, as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Development: Guide the development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks including medical groups/IPAs, hospitals, and ancillary providers that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend management.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop functional, market-level, and/or site strategy, plans, production, and/or organizational priorities.
  • Network Configuration and Incentive-Based Payment Models: Apply network configuration and incentive-based payment models as appropriate to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
  • Leadership: Direct work that impacts entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of supervisory-level experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results while demonstrating solid team leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience with provider contracting, including assessing contract language changes and managing provider relationships.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and utilizing financial modeling in making rate and strategic decisions.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Hospital and Medical Group contracting, including Capitated and fee-for-service Commercial and Medicare arrangements, Medicare Resource-Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs, Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc.
  • Able to attend in-person meetings as needed.
