About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team in the Northwest region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for advancing our mission to provide supportive housing and services to marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen and cultivate effective relationships with leaders of philanthropic, government, and community-based organizations to engage multi-sector leadership and investment in existing and new housing and services.
  • Supervise staff and manage projects, ensuring clearly defined team roles, on-time and on-budget deliverables, and delivery of quality products.
  • Support the Director with geographically based fundraising, business development, and team budget development and monitoring.
  • Create and deliver in-person and virtual technical assistance, training, and facilitation, incorporating an emphasis on racial equity and community ownership.
  • Identify opportunities and learnings from projects to disseminate recommendations and impact across CSH teams and regions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in supportive housing, affordable housing, healthcare, child welfare, and/or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or any combination of 10+ years of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Demonstrated leadership, management skills, and high-level decision-making necessary to advance and realize CSH's vision.
  • Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities, including communities of color, in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and train large groups both virtually and in-person.
  • Understanding of institutional and structural racism and bias, white dominant culture, and structures of power, and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities.
  • Project management experience, with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and the ability to manage project teams, project budgets, and deadlines with moderate supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitation, and training, active listening, and ability to present to diverse audiences.
