Job Overview

Xcellent Technology Solutions is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the execution of critical mission processes and help the company grow. As the Director of Contract Operations, you will be responsible for translating the intent of the managing owner and executing it with functional staff and Program Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of contract operations strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure effective execution of contracts and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Oversee the education and execution of critical mission processes to drive growth and improvement.
  • Coordinate staff availability and protect the time of others to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Program Managers and functional staff.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager in the federal space with a team of at least 12 people and $4-5 million in revenue.
  • Understanding of federal service contracts and basic rules related to contracting.
  • Quantitative financial skills, which could come from a degree in finance or business with appropriate mathematics courses or from direct, demonstrated on-the-job ability.
  • Leadership and mentorship of 3 direct reporting Program Managers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of executive communications and the ability to facilitate from concept to practice.
  • At least 1 successful change management experience in a corporate setting.
  • Value concepts-driven from a strong ethical center.
  • A background in Geospatial, GIS, GEOINT, or agency contacts in the federal government arena would be a plus.
