Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in developing and executing a people and culture plan that drives business growth and solidifies our leadership position in the industry.

This role will empower you to design and implement optimized organization structures across the US, ensuring that Tilray Beer Company is positioned for high-level in-market execution and growth.

As an expert in employee engagement, talent development, organization design, change management, employee relations, and industrial relations, you will quickly identify talent opportunities and maximize performance within our Northern Core region.

This role will be responsible for our Atlanta site and Athens facility, and you will be a key member of the Tilray Beer HR team and part of the global HR community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment between business operations and HR practices and objectives via onsite support in our Atlanta, Georgia facility.
  • Provide consulting and coaching to departmental leaders and managers to support the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives.
  • Align people management with business strategies.
  • Consult with leadership and management teams to foster and promote the engagement of the business's core values at all levels.
  • Assist management and leadership in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations.
  • Coach departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making.
  • Play a major role in the management of varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of HR Management experience.
  • Vast knowledge of relevant labor laws and practices.
  • Experience negotiating and operating in union facilities.
  • Great knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques, and management systems and approaches.
  • Proven and successful experience in influencing senior management and departmental heads into the adoption of ultimately beneficial people management policies and procedures.
  • Proven and successful problem-solving experience leading to lasting employee relations solutions.
