Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Grand Sierra Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administering employee benefits, including FMLA and ADA processes, disability claims, and benefit enrollments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Administration: Maintain and be primary contact with team members and department leadership for FMLA and ADA processes, prepare FMLA/ADA packets, and review physician forms.
  • Disability Claims: Submit disability claims online to the company insurance provider and provide monthly reports to corporate.
  • Benefit Enrollments: Audit benefit enrollments for completion and verify dependent documents have been received.
  • Communication: Prepare and send out monthly eligibility team member information via digital displays, email, social media, and physical letters.
  • Support: Assist team members with benefit and leave questions and requests, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of applicable laws concerning medical insurance, HIPAA, FMLA, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Highly motivated, self-starter who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and successfully.

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
