Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, as well as other advanced procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnostic imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
  • 3+ years of experience as a cardiac sonographer, with a strong background in echocardiography and diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
