Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

Bon Secours is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing various complex, diagnostic non-invasive cardiac studies to evaluate the condition of the heart and related structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce 2-dimensional, M-Mode and Doppler and Color Flow Doppler analysis of heart valves, chambers and related structures.
  • Perform high-quality Adult, Geriatric and Adolescent Echocardiography with or without contrast.
  • Perform high-quality Pediatric and Neonatal Echocardiography examinations.
  • Perform high-quality Stress Echocardiography examinations, with or without contrast.
  • Perform high-quality Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, with or without contrast.
Requirements:
  • Work requires a degree or certificate from an AMA-approved school in an allied health field with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics and diseases of the cardiovascular systems.
  • Work requires knowledge and experience in ultrasound imaging, Doppler and Color flow techniques; must have ability to properly operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment at a level generally acquired during six to twelve months of on-the-job training and/or experience.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer/Cardiovascular Technology registered or registry eligible (ARDMS, CCI/NBCVT) preferred.
  • Must maintain current CPR certification.
