Advanced Care Partner

We are seeking an Advanced Care Partner to join our team in the CTICU at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. As an Advanced Care Partner, you will provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider. You will prioritize wellness and patient perspectives, model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare, and effectively partner with specialized ancillary team members.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care, including gathering vital signs, measuring blood glucose, performing sterile dressing changes, starting peripheral IVs, and measuring intake and output.
- Assists patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.
- Assists to keep care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire.
- Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing.
- Must have completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provide transcripts of successful completion.
