Advanced Care Partner Externship Surgical Specialties

UCHealth is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Advanced Care Partner to join our team in Surgical Specialties. As an Advanced Care Partner, you will provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider, prioritizing wellness and patient perspectives. You will model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth, effectively partnering with specialized ancillary team members, and welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider
- Prioritizes wellness and patient perspectives
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Effectively partners with specialized ancillary team members
- Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
- Contributes to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
- Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing
- Must have completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provide transcripts of successful completion
