Advanced Care Partner Externship Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Advanced Care Partner Extern to join our team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. As an Advanced Care Partner Extern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced healthcare professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in providing direct patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider
- Prioritize wellness and patient perspectives
- Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Effectively partner with specialized ancillary team members
- Contribute to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
- Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing
- Must have completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provide transcripts of successful completion
