Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager with an agricultural company near Randolph, WI. In this role, you will supervise and improve the company's IT operations, implement IT systems, support their network, and determine the company's IT needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the organization's information systems requirements are met.


Responsibilities:


• Lead significant IT projects, including the introduction of new IT systems and services

• Monitor IT systems performance to assess productivity levels and cost, and propose improvements for the IT infrastructure

• Formulate and execute business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations during emergencies or data loss

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate business requirements and develop solutions for IT needs

• Evaluate vendors and develop testing strategies for new hardware and software

• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software

• Ensure the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information

• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures

• Oversee and coordinate technical support across different locations

• Perform other duties as assigned, which are related to the main function of the job.


This role requires skills in Network Administration, Network Security, Firewall, Databases, Servers, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Candidate must possess a strong understanding of Network Administration and Network Security.

• Proficiency in managing Firewall systems is essential.

• Experience in handling Database Servers is required.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is helpful.

• Ability to lead and manage an IT team, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with other teams and stakeholders.

• Proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in IT and Network Management will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

• Strong understanding of IT project management principles.
