Medical Support Specialist

As a Medical Assistant at Concentra, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our medical staff as a Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine medical procedures, including vaccinations, injections, and phlebotomy, under the supervision of a treating clinician.
Conduct rapid screening tests, such as influenza, strep, and glucose testing.
Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing.
Assist providers during examinations and treatment, and triage and dispositions all patients.
Maintain and operate medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping.
Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices, as well as testing processes used in the center.
Requirements:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school, or Military Medical Specialist with current Medical Assistant credentials in the state of employment.
Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, and previous medical office experience preferred.
