  • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year experience in the operation of school cafeterias and preparing and serving food.
  • The knowledge of the proper methods of preparing and serving foods, of kitchen utensils and mechanical kitchen equipment.
  • The ability to follow oral and written directions, to wash, cut, measure, mix, and assemble ingredients, to use common cooking utensils and equipment, to do light manual work, and to work cooperatively with others.
