Job Description

We are a professional staffing services company providing staffing services to our direct clients nationwide. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant - Litigation Team to join our team at Carper Consulting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant in a law firm, with strong knowledge of business practices. A high school diploma is required, with additional legal coursework considered an asset. Proficient understanding of litigation processes and court operations is essential, along with expertise in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools like Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, and iManage.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your administrative expertise while working in a dynamic legal environment. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, managing meetings, calls, and guest interactions with professionalism and poise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the litigation team, with occasional assistance in other practice areas.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and demonstrate keen attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Liaise with court personnel and attorneys to resolve issues and gather necessary information.
  • Draft, review, and ensure the accuracy of legal documents to uphold high standards.
  • Monitor and meet deadlines with precision.
  • Process payments and reimbursements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize client contacts, emails, and correspondence effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, whether transcribing dictation or drafting documents.
  • File court documents electronically with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
