About the Role:

Aon is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Reinsurance Broking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in new Facultative broking production, placing new business, and assisting with the current renewal book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in new Facultative broking production and place new business
  • Assist with the current renewal book of business
  • Support the development of sales and marketing strategy to cultivate revenue generation opportunities
  • Work closely with Aon Retail, Treaty, and Analytics teams to focus efforts on new business development and client relationships
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Aon resources and solutions and match them to client business requirements
  • Achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service
  • Foster a team approach to internal and external business relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience with a focus on property insurance
  • CPCU or ARE designation preferred but not required
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial property insurance and reinsurance
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with major clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, keen negotiation, business acumen, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a self-starter
  • Previous experience in managing teams or direct reports
  • Ability to travel
