Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Unit Supervisor to join our team at ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, LLC. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members to ensure seamless operation of the nursing unit.
  • Develop and implement effective emergency response plans to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify accuracy of medication administration and other critical aspects of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including but not limited to staffing patterns, quality metrics, and incident reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current State license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • No less than one year of experience in behavioral health nursing, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, prioritization, organization, delegation, communication, patient/family education, and teamwork.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
