Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse Supervisor coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily activities of the Nursing Department in an operating room setting. As a supervisor, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. Your leadership role involves ensuring the implementation of critical pathways and adhering to hospital mission guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of patient pathways to achieve identified outcomes.
  • Assumes a leadership role in providing quality nursing care for patients receiving services within the nursing department.
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
  • Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based on age-specific needs using a developmental perspective.
  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for the position.
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment.
  • Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on assigned shifts while coordinating with Mgr Nursing and/or Dir Nursing.
  • Courts work activities with other supervisors.
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
  • Develops plans to meet short-term objectives.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in the state
  • Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course
  • CNOR preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or BSN
  • Master's degree in nursing/management preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years as a supervisor
