Alamance Foods is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including our production lines, warehouses, and office spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Conduct quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Respond to maintenance requests and handle necessary repairs, including fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, and painting.
- Test and recommend new maintenance products to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, problems, and maintenance activities.
- Manage inventory of cleaning and repair supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Train junior staff members on maintenance procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Construction skills, including carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing, and welding.
