Maintenance Specialist

As a Maintenance Technician at Stericycle, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment. Under the direction of our team, you will perform a variety of maintenance functions, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic evaluations on equipment and perform repairs as needed, ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis on a variety of machinery within the plant, including fire tube boilers, steam delivery systems, water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, and conveyor systems.
- Perform light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment, including 480V/240V/120V/24V power systems, and troubleshoot and maintain PLC and light robotics systems.
- Document results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.
- Perform other related duties as required or requested to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility and support Stericycle's commitment to Safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with PLC and light robotics systems is a plus.
