ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Child Development Specialist to join their team in Deep River, CT. As a full-time School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized strategies.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to create tailored educational plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide counseling services to students, including individual and group sessions, to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Partner with educators and families to establish supportive learning environments that foster students' growth and development.
  • Advocate for students' mental health needs and provide crisis intervention when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for Connecticut School Psychologist certification.
  • Experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
