About the Position

This Research Coordinator III position plays a critical role in our Healthy Brain and Child Development study. With 3 years of research experience, you will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects and clinical research programs. Your expertise will ensure that research participants, families, healthcare providers, and research teams receive accurate information about clinical research aspects.

About the Study

The Healthy Brain and Child Development study requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of related experience. A Master's Degree is recommended, as is certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). You will work 40 hours per week, with some nights and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assess, develop, and revise research protocols to prepare materials for approval, including initial contract reviews and confidentiality agreement review.
  2. Prepare and negotiate study budgets, tracking account activity, resolving discrepancies, and working with ACRI to collect funds per contract at study end.
  3. Facilitate inspections/audits, developing QA schedules, performing QA activities, and creating improvement plans.
  4. Delegate or assist with creating flowcharts, source documents, and other study-related materials, managing subject data on case report forms, and creating databases.
  5. Lead others in using clinical processes and teaching/learning principles to provide subject/family education and develop education tools/materials.
  6. Coordinate collecting requested data for sponsor review during site visits, assist study monitors in chart and case report form review, and maintain files and study documentation according to institutional and regulatory standards.
  7. Provide oversight for the orientation/precepting program, lead training, and monitor preceptors' process.
  8. Lead performance improvement and research activities, promoting mentoring relationships, community teaching, and education of subjects and families.
