The salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. This figure may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maternal Child Nurse Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery and desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions

Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

Collaborating with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive care

Educating patients and their families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and neonatal health

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which they reside. A minimum of one year of maternal/child experience is preferred. Additionally, candidates must have BLS certification and complete NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring courses within the orientation period.
