Job Title: Registered Nurse - Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse - Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide patient-centered care and be responsible for nursing assessment and diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and evaluate patients' adaptation to health changes
  • Develop a plan of care based on patients' disease, symptoms, and response to treatment
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease processes, treatment, side effects, and symptom management
  • Coordinate with inter-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Refer patients, families, and caregivers as appropriate to other clinical resources/professionals
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate RN license
  • Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course)
  • Critical thinking and ability to develop clinical judgment
  • Time Management skills and ability to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN prepared nurse
  • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or BMT RN
  • 2 years of oncology nursing experience
  • Previous telephone triage experience
