Job Title: Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is a leading cancer research and treatment center seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator will provide patient-centered care and be a key member of our interdisciplinary care team. This role will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs and develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and symptom management
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Referral to other clinical resources and professionals as needed
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, integrating research and evidence-based knowledge
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate RN license
  • Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent)
  • Critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN prepared nurse
  • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or BMT RN
  • 2 years of oncology nursing experience
  • Previous telephone triage experience
