- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease processes, treatment options, and symptom management.
- Coordinate with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
- Implement, evaluate, and modify plans of care as needed.
- Integrate research and evidence-based knowledge into clinical practice.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate RN license.
- Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course).
- Critical thinking and ability to develop clinical judgment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- BSN prepared nurse.
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or BMT RN.
- 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
- Previous telephone triage experience.
- Previous outpatient clinic experience.
