Diagnostic Imaging Technician

At Midwest Express Clinic, we prioritize patient care and well-being above all else. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiology procedures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
  • Welcome patients, obtain medical histories, and verify patient information with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Complete patient check-in and check-out processes, including applicable paperwork, with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare charts and maintain documentation of patient testing information with attention to detail.
  • Process payments and communicate with staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies in the department, adhering to federal and state regulations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a reliable vehicle and current driver's license.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technician program and IL/IN State Radiology Technician licensure.
  • Previous X-Ray experience preferred, but not required.
  • ARRT Certification required.
  • Ability to multitask, receive coaching, and provide feedback while maintaining accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Organizational skills and EMR experience.
