Job Summary

PainPoint Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of a Physician, perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of treatment.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.
  • Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and using beam restrictive devices.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Work with other clinical staff and physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Fill out required paperwork for each procedure or radiographic exam.
  • Schedule patients for upcoming appointments and procedures.
  • Assist in retrieving and stocking supplies for procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an American Medical Association-approved program in Radiology Technology.
  • Current ARRT certification and Indiana State License.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • C-arm experience.
